Jonathan Hunt ~ Owner

Jonathan Hunt first started in the restaurant business at the age of 15, in a small pizza kitchen here in MN. He then was formally trained at St. Cloud technical College and Johnson and Whales in Miami, FL. Pillaging his way through half of the kitchens in Minneapolis he ended up at Pane Vino Dolce as the chef. This is where he found his niche in Italian cooking and decided to open his own restaurant, al Vento.

For the past six years Jonathan has made al Vento a great destination spot for Italian cuisine and service. His main focus was to bring in as many neighborhood people as possible, providing them with local fresh foods as well as friendly and attentive service.

Jon's vision for Rinata is for it to evolve into a warm and inviting neighborhood eatery, providing guests with a piece of Italy in their back yard. The focus is on house-made pastas and bites of food that will please your palate at a reasonable price.

Amor Hantous ~ Owner

Amor was born and raised in Tunisia. His earliest food memories come from his childhood when he was helping his mother with cooking and picking the products at the local market. She made him understand the importance of fresh and only the best ingredients.

At age of seventeen Amor moved to the United States. Being independent yet missing his mother’s cooking, he tried to reach back to those memories and repeat some of the recipes in his own kitchen.
Working at New York’s cafés and restaurants were the next steps of his journey where love of food and wine developed quickly.

Many travels throughout United States and Europe marked Amor’s taste and passion for good food. He found his final destination in Minnesota where influenced by many restaurant owners he decided to share a pleasure of opening Rinata with Jonathan Hunt.
